For a long time I've been using Xtreme bullets in my Open Gun in 9major. With their Cabelas rewards program they sent me 250 brass cases. To my experience, these were the best cases I ever had. With other brands, after 2 reloads, I would get loose primer holes and have primer debris in my trigger. I reloaded the Xtreme 3 times and then used them in my 629 twice more without any issues. I always wondered why the cases were heavy, which made dropping the bullets in the cylinder faster while the spent casings never got stuck like starline brass. I always thought steel brass, which I never knew they were, could not be reloaded. I guess Xtreme brass is the exception to that rule.

New Brass?

I read a previous review from Justin Wagner. He is absolutely correct when he says "Brass Coated Steel" cases. Magnet proves it. Head stamped "Xtreme". I wondered why they are much harder to process, now I know why. I will not be buying this brass (steel) anymore.

Packaged nicely. For reloading, I haven't done to many to really review. However they advertise that it is new BRASS cases. They are in fact new BRASS COATED STEEL cases. Rating may go up but definitely not what I had wanted to purchase.

Same FM headstamp that's on freedom munitions ammo. Packaged nicely, no damaged pieces.
