X-Treme Bullets are proudly made out of the finest materials available in the United States in order to ensure performance delivered down range with each and every shot.  Our process starts with a lead billet that is extruded into wire. The lead wire is then swaged into a core. The cores are copper plated, then restruck once more. Though not common in the industry, this restrike process produces a bullet that is more uniform, with a more precise diameter and a smoother finish for a better shooting and better looking bullet.

Great in 300 blackout October 5, 2016
Reviewer: Andrew Choi from Hanover, PA United States
I use these bullets in 300blackout they shoot so great. Swaged them using lee 308 die and use wolf srm primers over 13gr lil gun.  I would have never known about these great bullets if it werent for a good friend that gave a handful to try.  Thank you extreme bullets for making a great bullet at a great price.

Work well in .303 British February 14, 2016
Reviewer: Mike T. from Massachusetts
Took a chance and ordered some for my Enfield No5 Jungle Carbine (1945), even though the diameter is a bit small for some .303s.  Very nice reduced power loads over 11-13 gr of Unique, Herco, and Universal.  Accuracy is better than the rifle's peep sights or my eyesight.  Feeding is not as smooth as the long spitzer bullets the gun was designed for, so no "Mad Minute" with these, but seat them as far out as possible, crimp lightly, and they will feed nicely.  The batch I got measure 0.3135.

7.62 Shooting well in MY SKS! May 2, 2015
Reviewer: christopher Manzo from Middle River, MD United States
I have used about a thousand of these in a Norinko SKS. I replace the steel core in Tula and Brown bear. Also in brass reloads. Length set to 2.050 COL. My SKS likes polymer magazines,10,20 and 30 round. Fired well in the original magazine. I have had no issues , accuracy if fine and I shoot regulary indoors with this bullet, Steele is not permitted. VERY HAPPY!

Definitely NOT for SKS April 28, 2015
Reviewer: Tom Zeeba from Wilkes-Barre, PA United States
As a previous poster noted, these are not intended for SKS and AK-type rifles.  The flat point fails to engage the feed ramp and allows the cartridge to slam into the breech face, pushing the bullet further into the case.  I still shot them over a chronograph to see if there was a velocity difference, but only in PITA, single-shot mode.  There was little difference in velocity compared to the .311 bullets I've been using.

A good practice bullet January 4, 2015
Reviewer: Mark from Oklahoma City, OK United States
I've tried these in both 7.62x39 and 7.62x54r.

In x39 cartridge I helped work up a load for a AR-15.  Wound up with a working load of 22.0 grains of H4198(same powder he used for jacketed bullet loads) with OAL of 2.2".  That cycles the action fully and gives about 2 to 2.5 inch groups at 100 yards, with velocity averaging ~1800fps.  Yes, that's faster than X-Treme recommends, and higher than I expected.  I can say that- in that rifle at least- no nasty copper fouling in the bore, and very consistent accuracy.

In 7.62x54R, I just started experimenting, using 15.0 grains 2400 propellant.  Longest range I've been able to shoot at so far is 30 yards at an indoor range, and results are good: with iron sights and a so-so rest, I'm getting ~1" groups, with no nastiness in the bore.  No velocity readings, can't set up the Chrony there.

For some rifles it would be nice if the bullet had more of a taper and a smaller flat on the nose, but overall very good bullets for the purpose.
