Description

X-Treme Bullets 308 caliber 147 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) bullets are proudly made out of the finest materials available in the United States in order to ensure performance delivered down range with each and every shot. We use state of the art manufacturing technology deigned to encompass the lead core in a copper jacket, which is not intended to expand upon impact with the target. A cannelure is added to provide a better hold during the crimp process. These bullets are ideal for target shooting, plinking and varmint hunting.

3 of 5 No bullets December 19, 2023
Reviewer: Andrew Pettit from Beaver Dam, KY United States
I honestly wanted to give these a good review because I ordered 1000. But after 2 weeks with no update or progress in shipping I have nothing to review.

4 of 5 Great Performer October 3, 2022
Reviewer: Andrew from Portland , OR United States
Appearance:  As per usual these bullets are almost shiny enough to see your reflection!  That said, I was REALLY disappointed that almost all of my 1,500 bullets at a very distinct tooling mark (a ring) around the tip the of bullet.  I have seen bullets sold as ‘blemished’ that were less deformed that these.  Xtreme Bullets, I do hope that you fix this in the future.

Accuracy: Only positive things to say here!  I loaded these with 44.0gr of WC 846 in Lake City Brass and CCI 34 Primers.  Using a 20” PA10, I fired one 5 round group at 300 yards and landed a 3.25” group (my Lake City M80 was somewhere in the 7-8” group).  I have to say that it pretty amazing to use a budget rifle, with military brass, power, and primers, and an inexpensive bullet and still shoot an MOA at 300 yards.

All in all these are a great bullet and I would definitely recommend (with the caveat that you may receive rings around the tip of your bullet).

4 of 5 Careful with seating depth in 300 BLK loads February 13, 2022
Reviewer: KennyB from Johnstown, CO United States
I use these for cheap plinking bullets in my 300 BLK, and they work great for that. However, in my rifle (AR15 Palmetto State Armory) if I seat the bullet to the cannelure it is already engaging the rifling. This is because the ogive is pretty far forward in this bullet design. This can cause a dangerous pressure spike upon firing. Make sure to measure your chamber to determine the proper seating depth. I had to use a COL of about 2.000", which is much shorter than listed in any of my manuals. In my rifle this gets me a free bore ("bullet jump") of about 0.020". Of course, your rifle may be different, which is why you should measure it and don't take my word (or anyone else's) for it!
Summary: Although not designed with the 300 BLK in mind, this bullet makes a great and inexpensive pliking round as long as you take care to seat it at a safe depth.

5 of 5 Very nice bullets February 13, 2022
Reviewer: Terry R from SW, OH United States
Loaded some test rounds up for my 783.  The 60 I loaded all weighted with .002 gns of each and within .002 in oal.  Best group was with a reduce load Trailboss at 3 shots and .13 inches @50 yds.  IMR 3031 and Varget also produced very good groupings at less than 1" @50. Haven't got them through the M-5 yet.  But I got some loaded and ready to go.

5 of 5 25 yard zero 300 HAM'R February 3, 2022

Wilson Combat 300 HAM'R
To bad I can't load the target image. The size of my pinky fingernail with 3 rounds & the remaining 4 rounds the same.
I have also loaded the same in a 300 Winchester Magnum but haven't yet gone to the range. Soon, I'll load some 308 Winchester & 30-06 loads & report back.
