Great bullet for the price	April 13, 2014

Loaded 500 of these 230 gr hollow points with assorted brass, CCI large pistol primers, and 5 gr +/- .2 gr of bullseye. Load very accurate in my Taurus PT1911. I made a block of Knox Gel about 18 inches long, these things went right through it all. I put a few jugs on the back end of the gel, and again these things went right through it all. I wouldn't now rely on them for their expansion properties but I don't think they were designed for that.

I'm still very happy with the results. Very accurate, no fouling. Even had a few Squib on me (loaders error) and had to hammer out the bullets. The bullets had bits from the rifling groves the copper plate held up very well no rips or cuts just indentations from the bullet starting to opterate (engaging the rifling) in the barrel.

Very nice quality. Very good accuracy. I ran 5.5gr HP38 with LOA at 1.240 and TC at .466.
Vel approx 820 from a 5.5" match bbl. Win cases with Rem primers.

Xtreme plated bullets are the best bullet I've ever loaded! Seated over 5.3grs of Green Dot in mixed cases (mostly range brass), these bullets group under 1.5" in a 4" bbl Springfield XD service model. That's 13 rds at 7yds freehand, b-27 target, avg 835 fps. Flawless feeding, consistent size & weight, and unmatched accuracy make this my ONLY bullet for loading 45ACP. Add to that fast shipping and great price - how could you consider buying anything else? Xtreme all the way for me!

I recently bought a Rem 1911 r-1. I bought two box of 500 bullets. I loaded them in new casings and took them to the shooting range. I first shoot some manufactured 45 ACP ammo to make sure the pistol was working properly. I was worried about the hollow points(HP) not feeding properly in my 1911 pistol. After several hundred rounds, I have only had two that jammed and I think those were due to bad casings. Great product at a low price!!
