I have been using these bullets for years.  Very accurate, not messy and they make perfect clear holes in NRA pistol targets.

5 of 5 Nice SWC boolit September 30, 2019
Reviewer: JC Smith from Walnut Creek, CA United States
I don't know what GT45 is using for paper targets but for cardboard IDPA and USPSA targets these bullets punch the same kind of holes as every other H&G68-type bullet I have used and they don't make the mess on your hands or in your dies the cast lead or moly-coated bullets do... yeah, they do cost a little more.

1 of 5 NOT a SWC bullet February 23, 2018
Reviewer: GT45 from Broadview Hts, OH United States
I'm not expecting full wadcutter paper punching performance from a SWC design, but these 200 SWC's don't come anywhere close to cutting a clean hole. These are basically flat point bullets. Like another plated SWC manufacturer's design, the bullet is designed to feed reliably in a semiauto and has no "wadcutter" properites. Disappointed.

I have been using X-treme bullets since the early 80's. Back then they were known as Western Nevada West Coast Bullets. The 200 grain SWC, H&G-68, has been my go to bullet for more than 35 years. I have surpassed 1 million rounds using X-treme bullets.

5 of 5 NRA Precision Pistol July 3, 2017
Reviewer: Daniel Miller from Mineola, TX United States
I am very pleased with the performance of these copper plated 200gr SWC's. The plating and absence of lube made reloading much cleaner and faster. Only a few loaded cartridges out of a thousand did not fit the chamber checker, a much better result than my cast 200gr SWC's, but they still chambered and fired during practice. I did not ransom any loads but they called spot on at 50 yards with 4.6 Titegroup and small primer brass. After shooting a thousand of these I am convinced that these are much cleaner and much more accurate over a long course than cast bullets.

I ordered a box of these a few months ago and I love the way they shoot.  They are a great buy and load so very nicely.  Highly recommended.

5 of 5 My favorite 45 bullet September 5, 2016
Reviewer: JTom4 from Collierville, TN United States
These are great.  No problems feeding in my 45's and with a minimal load of TiteGroup this cycles well and cuts a nice round hole in the targets.  They are so pretty I hate to shoot them. Thumbs up!

4 of 5 Excellent quality, may not work in all firearms June 27, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from MD United States
The quality of these bullets is excellent; the weight is consistent, the shape is uniform, and the size is to specification.

As an unfortunate circumstance, the geometry of the front of the bullet does not match well with either my father's 1911 (colt gold cup) or my own (safari arms matchmaster). For an incident rate of about 15%-25%, the forward edge of the SWC impacts the base of the feed ramp, and bounces the cartridge into a 3 point jam.

I have switched to using xtreme's 230gr. RN and have had no further issues.

5 of 5 Target loads June 7, 2016

.45 ACP mixed cases, this 200 grain plated semi-wadcutter, 1.260 inch OAL, light taper crimp (just to remove case flare), S&B large pistol primers, and ONE of the following (I weigh rather than dip) powder charges:
Hodgdon TiteGroup 5.0 gr,   857 fps,   326 ft lb
Alliant BE-86 6.2 gr,   852 fps   322 ft lb
Alliant Unique 6.0 gr,   806 fps,   288 ft lb

These function well in my pistol, a full-size stainless S&W 1911 (I used this pistol for chronograph data), and shoot nice clean holes tighter than my aging hands can hold.

What more could I ask?
